Govt hikes petrol price by Rs3

The price of light diesel oil (LDO) has been hiked by Rs5 to Rs67.86
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The government on Tuesday raised the prices of petroleum products by up to Rs5 to share the impact of rising international prices with the consumers.
The price of petrol has been increased by Rs3 to Rs103.69 per litre from the existing Rs100.69.
The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been pushed to Rs108.44 per litre from the current price of Rs105.44, a rise of Rs3.
The new price of kerosene oil (SKO) will be Rs70.29, a jump of Rs5 over the existing 65.29.
Meanwhile, the price of light diesel oil (LDO) has been hiked by Rs5 to Rs67.86, from the current Rs62.86 per litre.
The decision to revise the fuel prices upwards was taken "in view of the rising oil prices trend in the global market".
The new prices are effective from December 15 (tomorrow).
