Corruption of former rulers hollowed foundations of Pakistan: CM Buzdar

There is no room for the corrupt in Naya Pakistan, Usman Buzdar stressed.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday said the corruption of former rulers hollowed the foundations of the country. He termed the menace of corruption not only a crime but also social and economic injustice.
Usman Buzdar said in his message on the International Anti-Corruption Day that unrest and disappointment spread in society due to this illicit activity and it is Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) mission to eliminate corruption.
Those who are involved in corruption commit treason against the country and zero-tolerance policy will be practiced against this evil, the Punjab CM said while adding that Pakistan’s image has improved internationally due to PTI’s policies.
He said Pakistan is eradicating corruption under the transparent leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and all classes of the society must help the government in this cause. A special anti-corruption campaign recovered Rs 206 billions, Usman Buzdar told.
