It's hypocrisy to invite thousands at public rallies and limited guests at private event: Asad Umar

Asad Umar said that it is most dangerous thing when political leaders say COVID-19 is not a threat.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar on Thursday said that it is an open hypocrisy to invite thousands of peole at public rallies and limited number of guests at private event, Dunya News reported.

Talking in Dunya News programme "Dunya Kamran Ke Sath", Asad Umar mentioned that a limited number of guests have been invited at the former president and Pakistan People s Party (PPP) co-chairmen Asif Ali Zardari’s daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto s engagement ceremony due to fear of coronavirus while the PPP asks its worker to attend PDM rallies in large number.

Asad Umra also informed that the early closure of shops in Karachi was a unilateral decision of the Sindh government and it was not a decision of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC). He said that it is most dangerous thing when political leaders say coronavirus is not a threat.
