Coronavirus: 26 People fined Rs13,000 for not wearing mask in Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) - In a bid to curb the spread of Coronavirus, Karachi administration has imposed strict SOPs and made wearing mask in public places mandatory, fines of Rs13,000 were collected from 26 persons for not wearing masks.
According to details, after the increase in Coronavirus cases action was initiated against those violating the Coronavirus SOPs. On Friday, the administration collected Rs13,000 from 26 people for violating Coronavirus SOPs. Some citizens followed the SOPs, but most were still not serious.
A directive has also been issued by the Sindh Home Department in view of the second wave of Coronavirus.
Masks were made mandatory in all public places across Sindh. It also banned unnecessary travel and travel of more than two people in a car. Offices have been instructed to call only the necessary staff and prioritize online work.
