Nature of Karachi blast yet to be ascertained: Saeed Ghani

At least five people were killed and 20 others received injuries in the explosion.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Saeed Ghani has on Wednesday said that the nature of Karachi explosion is yet to be ascertained as there are possibilities of both terrorism and gas leakage.
While talking to media, Saeed Ghani said it will be premature to give any statement and any confirmation will be made after the rescue operation is completed. Karachi commissioner is monitoring the operation, he said while adding that he is not in a position to confirm the death toll.
On the other hand, Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah has taken notice of the blast. The CM expressed grief over the loss of precious lives and prayed for early recovery of the wounded people. He has also sought detailed report on the incident by Karachi commissioner.
Let it be known that at least five people were killed and 20 others received injuries in the explosion which occurred in a four-storey building in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 7.
