Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused two hand grenades found in Nasirabad area of Gulberg in Lahore.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A major terror bid was foiled in Lahore as Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused two hand grenades found in Nasirabad area of Gulberg in Lahore on Sunday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, a garbage picker spotted suspicious items at a garbage disposal site in Makkah Colony in the jurisdiction of Nasirabad police station and informed police.
A heavy contingent of police reached the spot and recovered two hand grenades hidden at the garbage disposal site. Police immediately called in Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) which reached the spot and defused the hand grenades.
Police have also launched a search operation in the area. However, no arrest was reported. Police have also started investigation.
