Shoaib Malik becomes first Asian to score 10,000 runs in T20
LAHORE (Web Desk) - Pakistan middle order batsman Shoaib Malik, has achieved yet another milestone for his country. He has become the first Pakistani and also the first Asian batsman to score 10,000 runs in Twenty20 cricket.
West Indies opener Chris Gayle is the highest run scorer in Twenty20 cricket with 13,296 runs so far, while his compatriot Kieron Pollard is at the second position with 10,370 runs.
Former Kiwi’s captain Brendon McCullum is fourth with 9922 runs and Australia s David Warner is fifth with 9503 runs. Australia s Aaron Finch is sixth with 9161 runs and Indian captain Virat Kohli is seventh with 9033 runs.
India s Rohit Sharma is eighth with 8853 runs, former South African captain AB de Villiers is ninth with 8812 runs and former Australian batsman Shane Watson is at no ten with 8707 runs.
