Educational institutes to celebrate anti-dengue week from Sept 7 to Sept 13 in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Educational institutes in Rawalpindi division are likely to be opened from September 15 as coronavirus cases across the country have reduced. In a notification, Rawalpindi commissioner office has directed all the deputy commissioners to celebrate next week from September 7 to September 13 as anti-dengue week.
All schools, colleges, universities will remain open and all teachers and staff will attend the institutions, the notification stated.
In March 2020, the Pakistani government had closed all the schools, colleges and universities due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The decision was taken in a meeting of the National Security Committee, presided over by Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said on Twitter.
