PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Friday have arrested three militants and recovered weapons from their custody.

According to details, the militants were arrested during a raid by the police and the counter terrorism department in the city.

The arrested militants, who were residents of tribal areas, were involved in terrorism, kidnapping for extortion and target killing of security personnel. Pistols and explosive materials were also recovered from their custody during the raid.

The terrorists were planning to launch terrorist attacks in Peshawar, but the police foiled their plan by arresting them before the execution of their plan.
