Edhi volunteers used boat to rescue students from madrassa building and shifted them to safer place.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Edhi volunteers on Thursday night rescued 30 student who were trapped in a madrassa building in Jumma Goth area of Karachi due to urban flooding caused by heavy rains, Dunya News reported.
According to details, Edhi volunteers used boat to rescue the students from madrassa building and shifted them to safer place.
Edhi sources said that hundreds of residents are still tapped in rainwater in three other Goths in the city. They said that rescue operations in Allah Baksh Goth, Ghani Goth and Jumma Goth are underway to rescue trapped residents.
