Ushna Shah terms Dr Maha's suicide as murder
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistani actress Ushna Shah has termed suicide of young female doctor Maha Shah as a murder. In a post on social-networking website, the actress wrote, “In Pakistan, it is not uncommon for women to be killed in domestic or honor disputes and for their murders to be ruled as suicide, with no justice served.”
Please! Don’t let this young doctor be added to that statistic, she added. Ushna Shah further requested the Sindh police to not disappoint the public on this matter.
The reaction came after 24-year-old locked herself in the washroom and ended her life by shooting herself in the head. The police officers had also seized a 9mm pistol which was allegedly used in the incident.
