Coronavirus cases not increased after Eid-ul-Adha: Yasmin Rashid

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid has expressed satisfaction over the coronavirus situation and said the number of coronavirus cases has not increased after Eid-ul-Adha.

She said that the reason for the clear decline in Coronavirus cases was smart lockdown, smart sampling and excellent government policy.

Yasmin Rashid said that the cases are increasing in the world while the situation in Pakistan is under control. However, it is important to take precautions to avoid the second wave of coronavirus.

She said that the campaign for polio prevention was being further intensified. It has been decided to launch a polio campaign every month.

Minister hoped that Punjab province would be made polio free soon and strict measures were being taken for the prevention of dengue.
