Sindh govt lifts Covid-19 lockdown across province
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Sindh government has issued a notification lifting the lockdown restrictions across the province. However, wedding halls and schools will remain closed until September 15.
A statement issued under the decisions of the Sindh coronavirus task force said that new working hours for business activities have been announced. All business activities will continue six days a week in Sindh.
Working hours will be from 6 am to 8 pm, the statement said. However on Saturday, business activities in the province will continue till 9 pm.
Restrictions on cinemas, theaters, hotels and restaurants have also been lifted, but wedding halls and schools will remain closed until September 15. On the other hand, sports activities have been allowed in playgrounds while sports tournaments will be held without spectators.
Tourist destinations have also been reopened and tourism and hotel accommodation have been allowed. Restrictions on beauty parlors and gyms have also been lifted, the notification said.
