Chakki owners announce Rs 2 per kg increase in flour price in Lahore

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Chakki owners in Lahore have once again increased the price of flour by Rs 2 per kilogram, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
According to president Naan Roti Association, the new price of flour will be Rs 70 per kilogram as government has failed to decrease the wheat price. He said that the price of wheat in grain markets has crossed Rs 2,300 per 40 kg bag.
On the other hand, Muttahida Naan Roti Association also hinted to go on strike after Eid.
