PML-N leader Hina Pervaiz Butt submitted resolution in Punjab Assembly.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hina Pervaiz Butt submitted a resolution in the Punjab Assembly against increase in the PTV license fee, Dunya News reported on Monday.
The resolution rejected the hike of Rs 65, from 35 to 100 rupees, in the license fee while strongly condemning the decision by the federal government.
The resolution stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan in the past declared the PTV fee of Rs 35 as annual robbery of 10 billion rupees by the government, and now he is going to rob people of Rs 30 billion after surging the fee to 100 rupees.
The resolution appealed to the Supreme Court of Pakistan to take notice against this anti-public step by the federal government and declare the sudden decision of increasing the PTV license fee as null and void.
