Babar Awan calls on Aleem Khan, discusses political situation

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Adviser to the Prime Minister on Parliamentary Affairs Dr Babar Awan on Thursday called on Punjab Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan and discussed political situation in the country and especially in Punjab.

The meeting also reviewed the budget presented by the Punjab government.

Babar Awan said that despite difficult circumstances, a people-friendly budget was presented in Punjab and the historic budget for education and health reflects government priorities.

The adviser went on to say that the nation wants to see the prime minister s vision of change, change into reality and the federal government is also working hard to improve economic policies.

He said that the international organisations are declaring Pakistan an attractive country for investment, adding that the country’s economy will be in a better position as soon as coming out of the coronavirus situation.

On the occasion, Abdul Aleem Khan congratulated Babar Awan on running the parliamentary affairs in a better way.

He said that the procedure of budget session and proceedings of the House was excellent in the current situation.
