PM Imran chairs federal cabinet meeting

The federal cabinet discussed five-point agenda during the meeting.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal cabinet has met today (Tuesday) at the Prime Minister’s office in Islamabad to review political and economic situation of the country, Dunya News reported.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has presided over the federal cabinet meeting which was scheduled to discuss a five-point agenda. The current COVID-19 situation in the country also came under discussion during today’s meeting.
According to sources, the cabinet endorse dthe decisions taken by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) in its meeting on June 10. The issue of construction of multi-storied buildings in major cities of the country was also part of the agenda.
Sources further said that the approval of the launch of the coronavirus fund under the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) was also part of the agenda. The amendments made in the Children Act was also approved in the cabinet meeting.
