Provincial cabinet committee chaired by Abdul Aleem Khan recommends not setting up Ramadan Bazars
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Provincial cabinet committee meeting chaired by Abdul Aleem Khan has recommended not to set up Ramadan Bazars in the province due to coronavirus outbreak.
Addressing the meeting, Aleem Khan said that government wants to give direct relief to the people in Ramadan and Chief Minister Punjab will give final approval of cash relief program on Thursday. Relief package will benefit two million families of the province, he added.
He said that setting up Ramadan Bazars is not possible due to coronavirus outbreak in the country. Relief is essential but cannot endanger the lives of citizens, he stressed.
