Impossible to bring back all stranded Pakistanis at once: Zulfi Bukhari
Pakistan has brought back 2000 people to the country in the past one week
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Special Assistant to Prime Minister for overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari has said that it is impossible for Pakistan to bring back Pakistanis stranded in foreign countries at once due to lack of resources.
In a message to Pakistanis stuck in United Arab Emirates, the Special Assistant said that unlike Abu Dhabi, the situation in Dubai was not ideal due to the lockdown. He urged people that had homes in foreign countries to remain there instead of coming to Pakistan.
Zulfi Bukhari said that a flight will leave Abu Dhabi for Pakistan on April 18, after which the schedule for the remaining flights will be issued with special preference being given to people with transit flights, expired visas or those facing unemployment.
He said that Pakistan has brought back 2000 people to the country in the past one week and urged overseas Pakistanis to register complaints to the overseas ministry in case they face any problem.
