Notification to extend lockdown in Islamabad till April 14 issued

Pakistan has reported 51 deaths from coronavirus while the total number of cases has surged to 3505.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Notification to extend partial lockdown in the federal capital Islamabad has been issued on Monday as the battle against coronavirus intensifies with authorities scrambling to check its spread across the country.

On Monday, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Pakistan had jumped to 3,505 while the recovered cases were 259. Also, 51 deaths were reported since the first case emerged in January.

According to details, 1708 patients have been tested positive for the epidemic in Punjab, 881 in Sindh, 405 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 211 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 202 in Balochistan, 82 in Islamabad and 16 in Azad Kashmir.
