PM Imran calls PMLN-MQM meeting 'Beauty of Democracy'

MQM and other coalition parties are in contact with government: PM Imran

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan reacted to today’s meeting between leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) calling it the beauty of democracy.

According to sources, in a meeting of government and party officials chaired by PM Imran Khan, Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar gave a briefing on Public sector development program (PSDP) and costs incurred on various development projects.

According to Dunya News sources, the meeting between PML-N and MQM leaders was also discussed with the PM giving remarks that politicians’ meeting their colleagues is a part of democracy and the incumbent government is not under any threat. MQM and other coalition parties are in contact with government for matters pertaining to Sindh.

Pakistan Super League (PSL) also became the topic of discussion in the meeting with the PM expressing satisfaction on the PSL arrangements and crowd turnout. PSL was portraying a positive image of Pakistan to the world, he added.
