Govt focuses on reviving sick industrial units, promoting SMEs: PM Imran

PM Imran said the government has been working relentlessly for the economic growth.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has stated the present government has been focusing towards reviving “sick” industrial units and promoting small to medium enterprises as “they are essential for wealth creation and generation of employment opportunities.”
Talking to a delegation of prominent personalities associated with different banks, he said the government has been working relentlessly for economic growth and sustained positive sentiments, domestically as well as internationally.
Khan stressed on the need to channelise the energies of youth through skill development for enabling them to contribute towards economic development.
The premier appreciated proposals of the banking community, particularly those related to the revival of “sick industrial units” and assured maximum facilitation.
The meeting was informed that the Corporate Restructuring Company has been established for reviving the commercially or financially distressed companies making them profitable with consultation of all the stakeholders.
