Pakistan deploys doctors at Torkham border amid coronavirus outbreak

According to DC Khyber, over 143,000 travelers were scanned in the last three weeks.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan has deployed 13 doctors and other medical staff at coronavirus prevention facility at Torkham Gate.

According to details, medical teams have been deployed at the border after Afghanistan and Iran confirmed coronavirus cases. Thermal scanning of all travelers will be conducted at the border.

According to DC Khyber, over 143,000 travelers were scanned in the last three weeks. 13 doctors and other medical staff have been deployed, while several ambulances are also present at the border.

According to administration, emergency spots have been declared in Pak-Afghan Friendship Hospital Torkham, DHQ Hospital Landi Kotal and Jamrud.
