Former leaders have made Pakistan debtor: PM Imran
MIAN WALI (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Sunday has said that former rulers have made Pakistan debtor. While addressing a convocation ceremony at NAMAL University, the premier said that the struggle to make country progressive should never end. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is the first government which is making corrupt elements accountable, he added. He also congratulated the parents of the graduating students and told them not to be so serious. ‘Your children have done great. This is a day of joy for you all,’ he said.
Earlier, while speaking at the inaugural ceremony of Spring Tree Plantation Campaign in Mianwali, the PM said the PTI-led government is working on the agenda of making Pakistan a prosperous Islamic welfare nation on the pattern of state of Madina.
Shedding light on the significance of the plantation, he said the government is planning to introduce a subject of Tree Plantation in the curriculum across the country.
Minutes before his speech, PM Imran planted a sapling at Kundian Mianwali and launched a spring tree plantation drive titled Forest Restoration.
