CM Balochistan telephones PM amid coronavirus deaths in Iran
Till now five people have died of coronavirus in Iran.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal telephoned Prime Minister Imran Khan after Iran reported deaths from coronavirus.
Chief Minister contacted PM Imran Khan and State Minister for Health Dr Zafar Mirza to discuss the outbreak of coronavirus in Iran.
CM Balochistan informed PM that he is personally overseeing all the measures to prevent spread of coronavirus in the province and special teams have been formed to prevent the outbreak.
Jam Kamal further said that District Health Officers have been directed to take all precautions and special medical teams have been deployed in Taftan and other sensitive areas and emergency has been imposed in districts which are located on border with Iran.
It is pertinent to mention here that five people have lost their lives in Iran due to coronavirus.
According to statement released by Health Department, seven additional doctors with eight thermal guns have reached Taftan border. Special teams of NIH Islamabad, which will train local medical staff, are also headed towards Taftan.
Department has also directed all visitors, that came to Pakistan from Iran since January 2020, to visit nearby hospitals.
