Ranger, CTD arrests two 'terrorists' of banned outfit from Karachi

Two terrorists were arrested by Rangers and CTD during a joint operation in Karachi on Thursday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan Rangers, Sindh and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Thursday conducted a joint operation on intelligence report in Bismillah Colony area of Orangi Town in Karachi and arrested two terrorists of a banned outfit, Dunya News reported.
According to Rangers spokesperson, the arrested terrorists were identified as Mansoor Ahmed alias Bilal alias Ibrahim alias Sheikh Bhai and Fazal Ghani alias Shafiq alias Najeeb and belonged to Ustad Aslam group of Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The spokesperson further informed that the arrested terrorists confessed their involvement in many terrorist activities. The abducted police officials on 15 May 2011 and made them hostage to get release their colleague Allauddin who was involved in several cases of bomb blasts.
The arrested terrorists were also involved in several cases of abduction for ransom and bank robberies. Arms and stolen goods were also recovered from their possession.
