Alice Wells, Foreign Secretary discuss bilateral issues

Foreign Secretary apprised the delegation of Indian atrocities in Indian Occupied Kashmir
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In a meeting, US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Alice Wells and Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood discussed issues of mutual interest.
The two sides emphasized on furthering the relationship of trade and investment in accordance to the vision of leadership in Pakistan and America. Foreign Secretary apprised the delegation of the serious human rights situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir and LoC situation.
Progress of the Afghanistan reconciliation process was also discussed in the meeting. The Foreign Secretary reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to continue cooperation with the United States and said that Pakistan is committed to reducing tensions in the Middle East.
