Intermittent rain to persist in Lahore till Wednesday

Light rain in most part of the country during past 24 hours reduced the intensity of cold
LAHORE (Dunya News) - A strong westerly wave is affecting most upper and central parts of the country and likely to persist in upper parts till Wednesday morning.
According to meteorological department, rain with snow fall over the hills is expected at scattered places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and central Punjab, Bahawalpur division, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir while at isolated places in central and southern districts of Balochistan.

Meteorological department issued warning that heavy rain and snowfall may generate flash flooding in local nullahs of northern districts of Balochistan. Heavy rainfall and snowfall may trigger land sliding in hilly areas of the country.
Today’s Recorded Lowest Minimum Temperatures (°C) are Skardu -13°C, Astore -09°C, Kalam -08, Parachinnar, Gupis, Bagrot -07°C, Malamjabba -06°C, Hunza and Rawalakot -05°C.
