KARACHI (Dunya News) - Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations across Sindh including Karachi reopened for eight hours on Thursday night, Dunya News reported.
The CNG stations reopened across province at 10:00pm on Thursday and will shut down again at 6:00am on Friday. Long queues of vehicles were seen at the CNG stations in Karachi
As compared to petrol, gas is cheaper while the opening of CNG stations will hopefully provide ultimate relief to the public.
It is pertinent to mention here the supply to CNG was possible for only 50 hours during last month in Sindh. According to Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) spokesperson, the company is facing difficulties to meet the demand of domestic and commercial gas consumers in the province.
