Know all the features of Proton X70 SUV gifted to PM Imran

The Malaysian PM had gifted the Proton SUV to PM Imran Khan during his visit to Pakistan this year.
LAHORE (Web Desk) - Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s gifted Proton X70 SUV to Prime Minister Imran Khan during a ceremony organised in Islamabad, but how efficient really is this car?
Under the hood of the Proton X70 sits a 1.8-litre four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline direct injection (TGDi) engine capable of producing 184PS at 5,500 rpm and 285 Nm of torque.
Depending on the variant, power is transferred to the road via either front wheels or all wheels, both through a six-speed automatic transmission with Manual Mode.
Wheels selection are from 17-, 18- and 19-inch alloys.
Standard exterior equipment includes auto headlights, LED front fog lights and LED rear combination lights. However, only the three upper variants get LED projector headlights with daytime running lights while the base Standard 2WD gets halogen units.
Moving inside, the X70 receives leather steering wheel, steering mode selection, LCD meter combination, drive mode selection (Normal, Eco and Sport), rear seats with 60:40 split folding, dual zone air-con and a built-in air purifier system.
Unique to the range-topping Premium 2WD are the plush Nappa leather for the steering wheel and seats, along with powered front seats and lumbar support for the driver seat.
The infotainment system is served by an 8-inch touchscreen featuring Voice Command, online music streaming, online navigation, as well as smartphone and Bluetooth connectivity. There s also Proton Link App for the infotainment remote control and vehicle status.
In safety department, all variants of the X70 are equipped with six airbags, ISOFIX, ABS, EBD, electronic stability control, traction control, hill hold assist, hill descent control and emergency stop signal.
Proton offers its customers not one or two but four variants- Standard 2WD, Executive 2WD, Executive AWD, and Premium 2WD.
Making debut for the first time ever in Proton cars is the advanced safety features, available to the Premium 2WD.
This consists of autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, blind spot information system and intelligent high beam control.
Prices for the Proton X70 start at RM99,800 (Rs374000) upwards to RM123,800 (Rs4640000) and each purchase comes with Xtra Packages which includes Xtra Service Package, Xtra Low Financing Rate, Xtra Warranty Coverage and Xtra Data Package.
