Women Property Rights Ordinance will empower females: Dr Firdous

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting, Firdous Ashiq Awan has said the cabinet’s approval to amendment in Enforcement of Women Property Rights Ordinance is a practical step by Prime Minister Imran Khan to empower the women and make them shareholder in the property. 

In a series of tweets, the special assistant said it is mission of Naya Pakistan to ensure vibrant role of women in the society. She said the Letter of Administration and Succession Certificates Ordinance 2019 will prove to be a milestone in addressing inheritance related matters. This will ensure disposal of cases pending for years within few days.

Meanwhile, she also urged the opposition parties to support the government for legislation regarding extension of Chief of Army Staff (COAS).

She said the prime minister believed in rule of law and is working to further boost civil-military relationship besides alleviating poverty, inflation and unemployment.

Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said the government will complete its constitutional tenure and will again come into power after winning next election on the basis of its performance.
