Firdous Ashiq lambastes Bilawal for linking legislation with his political agenda
Firdous Ashiq said it is the fundamental responsibility of the parliament to legislate.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has criticized PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari over linking legislation in the parliament with his political agenda.
SAPM Awan took to Twitter and expressed that it is the fundamental responsibility of the parliament to legislate. She added that linking it with the political agenda is unparliamentary, unconstitutional and undemocratic.
Firdous Ashiq Awan urged the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chief to ponder over the matters whilst rising above the political blackmailing. She noted that using the parliament for political blackmailing is highly negative and contrary to the claims of the PPP.
She expressed that those who tried to create hurdles in the way of legislation aimed at national interests will be considered opportunists.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said Prime Minister Imran Khan is fighting for the cause of Pakistan and this irks the opposition.
