Dengue fever claims one more life in Rawalpindi

Death toll from deadly dengue fever in Islamabad and Rawalpindi has escalated to 43.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – One more dengue fever patient died at the Benazir Bhutto Hospital in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, raising the death toll from the deadly disease to 43 in Islamabad and Rawalpindi this year, Dunya News reported.
According to details, Ahsan who was a resident of Quaid-e-Azam Colony of Rawalpindi was brought to Benazir Bhutto Hospital three days ago after medical tests proved that dengue virus was present in his blood where he died today during treatment.
On the other hand, 84 new cases of dengue fever were reported in various hospitals of Rawalpindi during the past 24 hours after which the number of dengue patients in Islamabad and Rawalpindi during this year has risen to 9,616.
