5.2 magnitude earthquake jolts Peshawar, adjoining areas

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) An earthquake jolted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa s Peshawar and other adjoining areas on Wednesday. The intensity of the earthquake was measured as 5.2 on the Richter scale.
As per details, the quake struck at a depth of 180kms with epicenter lying at the HinduKush mountains. People came out of the buildings reciting holy verses after the earthquake.
The tremors were felt at Peshawar, loir Dir and adjoining areas. Areas in MalaKand division including upper and loir Dir, Sawat and in Hazara division Abbottabad were the areas which received shocks.
The latest tremors came days after a series of earthquakes jolted the northern areas of the country.
Earlier, at least 37 people lost their lives and more than 500 others sustained injuries in an earthquake that rattled Azad Kashmir.
