Pakistan reaches quarter-finals of Asian Volleyball Championship

Pakistan will face Japan and Chinese Taipei in the quarter-finals league.
TEHRAN (Web Desk) - Pakistan made their way into the quarter-finals by beating Kuwait 3-1 in their Group D last league outing of the 20th Asian Seniors Men’s Volleyball Championship in Tehran, Radio Pakistan reported.
This was the second successive win for Pakistan.
Pakistan will face Japan and Chinese Taipei in the quarter-finals league.
Earlier, Pakistan beat Indonesia by 3-2 in Asian Men s Volleyball Championship being played in Tehran.
Pakistan beat Indonesia, the No. 4 team of last Asian Men’s Championship with the set score of 25-20, 25-23, 19-25, 20-25, 15-13.
Captain Ajmal Khan led from the front as he made effective and powerful attacking moves.
