PPP to hold a rally on Defence Day to show solidarity with Kashmiris.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Sindh government held no rally on the day of solidarity with Kashmiris where Information Minister Saeed Ghani said that they don’t like to take any showcase measures.
According to the details, no demonstration, including the Chief Minister’s House, Sindh Assembly, Bilawal House, Zardari House and the People’s Secretariat, was seen in the Kashmir Hour.
Sindh Minister of Information and Labour Saeed Ghani said that the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister should have visited different countries to highlight the matter. "Government policy cannot highlight the cause of Kashmir while accusing the opposition of not working along", he added.
PPP leader Abdul Qadir Patel asserted that a joint meeting of the Parliament was called today but the government chose to escape. “Diplomatic war is more important than weapons”, he added.
Leaders expressed that the PPP will hold a rally on September 6 to observe ‘Defence Day’ with Kashmiris which will start from the tower and end at the press club.
