After negotiations with local administration the protester opened the road to pass Bhutto’s convoy.

MIRPUR MATHELO (Dunya News) – Residents of Mirpur Mathelo, who staged a protest against local administration for not providing any assistance in retrieving bodies of five persons drowned in Masu Vah Canal, briefly stopped Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s convoy, Dunya News reported on Thursday.

The PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto was going from MNA Sardar Khalid Lund’s residence in Khalidabad to Mirpur Mathelo when his motorcade was stopped by angry protesters.

The protesters were of the view that the local administration instead of sending rescue teams to retrieve dead bodies of five persons from canal was busy in protocol duty during Bilawal Bhutto’s visit of the area.

However, after successful negotiations with local administration the protester opened the road to pass Bilawal Bhutto’s convoy.
