Rain breaks heat spell in Lahore, other parts of country

Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast more rain during next 24 hours.
LAHORE (Dunya News) Heavy showers in different parts of the country including Lahore broke the prolonged heat spell on Thursday evening, Dunya News reported.
Rain was also reported from Kasur, Gujrat and other cities of Punjab and Azad Kashmir. Light rain in different parts of Karachi turned the weather pleasant.
Rain in Lahore inundated low-lying areas where roads were submerged under rains water while several neighbourhoods in most areas of the city remained without electricity due to tripping of electricity feeders.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast more rain with gusty winds at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Dust raising winds are also expected in Multan, D.G.Khan and Bahawalpur divisions during next 24 hours.
