Pollution in KP rivers increases to alarming level.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The pollution in the rivers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has increased to an alarming level, Dunya News reported on Monday.
It has been revealed that there are 17 hundred different types of bacteria in the Kabul River. The aquatic species are in danger owing to the contamination and it is feared that the quantity of oxygen will also reduce in the water.
The increasing pollution in rivers is also dangerous for human health as people are suffering from typhoid, hepatitis, diarrhea, cholera and other diseases.
On the other hand, the citizens have demanded the government to take solid measures to overcome this problem.
