Hot and dry weather expected on Eid days

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Meteorological Department said mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of Punjab and mercury may touch 45 °C in coming days.
The month of May was mostly pleasant due to light rain showers across the country but temperature would gradually rise in coming days and hot weather would prevail on Eid days.
The department called on all stakeholders to take precautionary measures and remain updated on the situation. A delay in moon soon season may bring an intense hot weather. The citizens of Islamabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan and Hyderabad would be affected by these extreme weather conditions.
Northern areas of Pakistan would remain at normal temperature.
According to Met department areas of Sindh including Badin, Sajawal, Sangher, Thatha, Umerkot and Tharparkar would witness dry weather. The weather at Quetta and its surroundings is dry and minimum temperature of 16 °C was recorded.
Mercury reached 46 in Sibbi, 45 in Turbat, 44 in Lasbela and 45°C in Nokandi.
