PM Imran approves tax amnesty scheme

The amnesty scheme will be implemented on April 15 through a presidential ordinance.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday gave formal approval to first tax amnesty scheme of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led federal government, Dunya News reported.
Finance Minister held a meeting with PM Imran on Monday and briefed him on the tax amnesty scheme. Sources said that the Prime Minister has approved in principle the first tax amnesty scheme.
Sources further said that the federal cabinet will be taken into confidence during today’s meeting in Islamabad. The amnesty scheme will be implemented on April 15 through a presidential ordinance.
