LHC to hear Hamza's pre-arrest bail plea today

A two-member bench of the Lahore High Court, headed by Justice Shahzad Milik, will hear the case.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Lahore High Court (LHC) will hear today (Monday) a pre-arrest bail request filed by Punjab Assembly’s Opposition Leader Hamza Shahbaz to avoid his arrest by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore, Dunya News reported.
A two-member bench of the Lahore High Court, headed by Justice Shahzad Milik, will hear the case. The hearing of the case is scheduled to be held at 12:00noon.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team has finalized charge sheet on money laundering against Hamza Shahbaz. Special prosecutor and an eight-member lawyer team will appear for NAB in the court while Hamza Shahbaz counsel Amjad Pervaiz will represent him in today’s hearing.
Meanwhile, Punjab home department has issued a fool-proof security plan for the occasion. Heavy contingents of police will be deployed at the premises of the Lahore High Court, accountability court and at the Mall Road to avoid any untoward incident.
