Rule of law prevailed and law has won today in Pakistan

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz on Saturday welcoming Lahore High Court (LHC) decision, declared that rule of law prevailed and law has won today in Pakistan.

While addressing Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) workers, after the Lahore High Court (LHC) verdict, he graciously thanked his workers stating that they are his real assets.

‘You are not my political workers but my family,’ he added.

Earlier today, Lahore High Court (LHC) restrained National Accountability Court (NAB) from arresting Hamza Shehbaz till April 8. NAB team accompanied by police remained outside Shehbaz Sharif’s residence in Model Town for Hamza Shehbaz arrest but couldn’t proceed as scuffle broke out between protesting PMLN workers and the police.

He further stated, that nation has an awakened awareness.

Hamza stated that Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif have upheld the law and not a penny worth corruption has been proven against them. Nawaz Sharif came back to Pakistan just because he respected the law.

Irked, Hamza accused NAB of violating the sanctity of his home.Those who implied i was hiding in the basement, I refuse to answer them. NAB itself stated in court that i was complying with court orders.

‘We are peaceful people who respect the judiciary.’

Lashing out at the government, he feared for Pakistan’s worsening economy.

‘Niazi Sahab has taken away bread from the poor; government hospitals are offering even more expensive tests than the private hospitals,’ he added.

The Dollar rate today is a question mark on the economic stability which is headed on a downward spiral with no money for repayemnt of loans.

Hamza told that Shehbaz Sharif announced to work together with the government on the ‘Charter of Economy. Niazi Sahab should refrain from political tiffs and focus on the charter of economy.

Hamza asserted that we took oath for the sake of democracy, despite Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rigging in the general elections.
