Gladiators reach Quetta with PSL trophy, receive warm welcome.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 4 Champions Quetta Gladiators Sunday reached their home city along with the glittering trophy to attend a ceremony that was hosted in their honor.
Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan gave prize money of Rs5 lac to each player. Nadeem Omar, the owner of Quetta Gladiators, announced to open a cricket academy in Quetta.
Speaking on the occasion, skipper Sarfraz Ahmed said the next edition of the PSL should entirely be held in Pakistan. “Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed his wish of hosting PSL 5 in Pakistan and players too want that,” he said.
Gul Panra added spark to the ceremony with her amazing singing. Lt Gen Asim Saleem Bajwa also attended the function.
Fans in large numbers welcomed Quetta Gladiators upon their arrival and chanted slogans for them. The security was beefed up on the occasion.
