Heavy rain, hail-storm hit parts of Punjab

The snowfall caused the closure of Matiltan-Kalam road
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Heavy rain and hail-storm hit the different areas of Punjab which significantly decreased the temperature and made the weather cold, Dunya News reported Tuesday.
According to details, downpour hit different districts of Punjab, including Sargodha, Sahiwal, Sangla Hill, Chiniot, Bhakkar, and the vicinities of these areas while gram crops are expected to be affected due to hail-storms in Bakhhar.
On the other hand, in Karak, Mirpur Azad Kashmir, temperature decreased due to heavy rain while the temperature plummeted below freezing in Sawat and surroundings.
The snowfall caused the closure of Matiltan-Kalam road while the people are facing difficulties in offering the funeral prayers of a dead as roads blocked due to land sliding at Jungle Malam Jabba point.
