ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Lawmakers have expressed unhappiness over Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj being invited by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the 26th Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) States meet which is set to take place in Abu Dhabi on March 1 and 2.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi today (Tuesday) telephoned his Emirati counterpart and demanded to withdraw the decision.

"Aggression has been done against a founding member of the OIC" the foreign minister said, referring to the Indian jets incursion in Balakot in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Qureshi said that Prime Minister Imran Khan also had telephonic conversations with UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as well as Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman over the development.
