Female student killed in resisting robbery bid in Karachi

A female student of medical college was killed when she resisted a robbery bid in Karachi on Friday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A female student of a local medical college was killed when she resisted a robbery attempt in Anda More area of Shadman Colony in Karachi on Friday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, 20-year-old Nimra was going on a rickshaw when two dacoits stopped the rickshaw near Anda More area and tried to loot her. Nimra offered resistance upon which dacoits opened fire and wounded her critically. She was taken to Jinnah Hospital where she died during treatment.
Hearing gunshots, a police party nearby rushed to the spot and chased the dacoits. The dacoits also opened fire at police. The law enforcers returned the fire and arrested both dacoits in injured condition. The arrested dacoits were sifted to hospital where one of them, identified as Riaz, succumbed to his injuries.
