Fake accounts case: SC discards review pleas of Zardari, Faryal and Sindh govt

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected all the review petitions of Sindh government, former president Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur.
The court also discarded the review pleas filed by Omni group and Anwar Majeed.
However; PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah have been allowed to submit the review petitions.

Giving remarks in the case, Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa maintained that all the arguments in the case have been provided on the basis of assumptions and concerns.
Omni Group’s lawyer adopted stance that investigation officer did not find any evidence therefore; the case has come to its end.
The Chief Justice responded that the case has not even begun.
Meanwhile, Zardari file a miscellaneous petition seeking explanation over the jurisdiction of suo motu notices.
Zardari, Faryal, Anwar Majeed and Sindh government had filed review petitions against the January 7 verdict of Supreme Court which ordered to remove the names of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Murad Ali Shah from the exit control list while directing that the case be forwarded to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
