PTI female members in PA to chair 11 standing committees

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to award chairmanship of 11 standing committees to female members of provincial assembly (MPAs) of Punjab.
In this regard, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has approved granting them chairmanships.
Earlier, female members of the PTI were ignored when parliamentary secretaries were appointed as in the appointment of 37 parliamentary secretaries none of the female members was selected.
Besides, in the 42-member Punjab cabinet, advisers and special assistants are represented by only two female members of the party.
