(Web Desk) – The main slogans of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf s (PTI) election manifesto 2018, the road to a new Pakistan, were justice and humanity whose salient points stressed education and health, as forms of social justice.
Today (Monday), keeping Pakistan Tahreek-e- Insaf (PTI) led government its words has launched the Insaf Sahet card for the destitute of country.
The salient features of Sahet Insaf Card are:
1 - Under the Sehat Sahulat Programme, the card holders will be able to get medical treatment worth up to Rs. 720,000.
2 - Angioplasty, brain surgery, cancer and several other medical operations will be offered free of cost for the card holders.
3 - The Sehat Insaf Card will cover treatment of all ailments except transplants.
4 - The Sehat Sahulat Programme will benefit approximately 1.5 crore people currently living below the poverty line.
5 - Over 80 Million needy people will be able to get free treatment in different Government and Private hospitals.
6 - For the purpose of performance review, a National Steering Committee will be formed. The committee will have representations from Federal, Provincial and Regional Health Departments
7 - Media workers and artists have been included in the first phase of the health cards.
8 - Salaried class will be provided health cover under insurance program to be launched soon.
9 - Assistance of 10,000 rupees will be provided if a patient, entitled under the healh card scheme, dies.
10 - Scheme is being launched in Punjab, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, FATA and the federal capital.
